I hate to start using the "C" word too soon but, I did just get in a batch of the Solid Spruce top Johnson JG-615s in natural and black......just in time for early Christmas shoppers. They are still a mere $169 AND playing better than ever. The main reason I have stuck with Johnson for my low end acoustics is just that, they keep working on them and each new batch is better made than the last. They look great under a Christmas tree too!!

Guitar in Blue by Art & Lutherie. Indeed, it is the A&L solid Cedar top from those great guys at Godin Guitars. What with the Canadian craftsmanship and mostly Canadian woods it is perhaps the best deal in the guitar world at $329.

I had this idea a few years ago and have finally figured how to make it work. Turns out it was all too easy. I'll maintain the guitars as needed.
