Meredith Public Health Nursing Association is the local visiting nurse agency serving the residents of Meredith and Center Harbor, New Hampshire. We provide a full range of home health care services. Everyone knows “you get better faster at home”. Each year we help more than 7,000 residents recuperate, recover, or simply maintain a safe lifestyle in their home. MPHNA is a not-for-profit, Medicare and Medicaid certified, New Hampshire licensed home health care agency.
The changing face of health care and health care reform is creating challenges that we are prepared to meet. Shorter hospital stays result in patients who require a higher level of skilled care and more frequent visits at home. We take great pride in being able to promote health and independence in your home through education and our skilled care services.

Home care services may be appropriate for you or your loved one when:

• Recovering at home from illness, accident or surgery
• Managing complex medication regime
• Learning to cope with a chronic illness at home
• Dealing with a cardiac or respiratory illness at home
• IV therapy can be managed at home
• Returning home after a recent hospitalization
• Safety concerns are impacting the ability to stay at home

Our clients are often eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, private insurances, or other payment sources to cover the cost of their care. Sometimes clients pay all or part of the cost, but services are never refused for financial reasons. The towns of Meredith and Center Harbor are very supportive of our services to the towns and our mission.
We also provide a RN in our office each morning and afternoon for those people requiring some skilled nursing services but are not homebound.
