Every person’s hearing loss is different. Every person’s needs, lifestyle and financial abilty differ. We want to know about these matters as they help us to determine with you what is the most effective hearing system.
All hearing aids are not the same. There are huge differences in technology, price, application and results! But, most importantly hearing aid styles have changed dramatically in the past three years. The BTE (behind the ear) aids were once thought to be "old fashioned" but now the miniature OPEN-FIT BTEs are the hottest and most effective products available. (see Oticon Delta,Epoq and Vigo). These products give us immediate and highly successful same day fittings. And, people like their nearly invisable presentation. approximately 70% of all the aids we fit are of this type.
The more traditional In-The-Ear aids have been transformed as well with the Starkey Destiny series which virtually eliminates feedback. This allows more severe loss to still be fit with small in the ear aids, greater ease of telephone useage and the ability to wear a hat or scarf without whistling.
We will work with you to help you decide on the best style for you, based on your needs and desires and validate your satisfaction with in-office demonstrations and a 45 day money back trial period.
