In a key agreement for people with hearing loss, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the Pennsylvania Hearing Healthcare Association (PHHA) and the Hearing Industries Association (HIA) have achieved an agreement that covers “invisible hearing aids”.

The more traditional In-The-Ear aids have been transformed as well with the Starkey Destiny series which virtually eliminates feedback. This allows more severe loss to still be fit with small in the ear aids, greater ease of telephone useage and the ability to wear a hat or scarf without whistling.
