Archaeologist Discusses Recently Discovered Mayan Site
The NCC Lecture Series will present Hamontum, "The Place of the Water Macaw:" A New Mayan Center Introduced on Thursday, November 4th from 7 - 9 p.m. in Room 150. In this free, public lecture Jason Paling will present some of the newest archaeological discoveries among household structures at Hamontun, a recently discovered Mayan site in northeastern Guatemala, and will discuss their significance to the growth of this ancient center.
How to Saddle a Dragon: The Evolution of the Gaming Industry
The IEEE New Hampshire Section Computer Society Chapter will present "How to Saddle a Dragon" on Tuesday, November 2nd from noon - 1:30 p.m. in Room 150. Gregory Walek, Game Designer and NHTI professor, will discuss how the gaming industry has changed since Chris Crawford's memorable "Dragon Speech" in 1992.
NH High Tech Council Names NCC 'Software Educator of the Year'
Nashua Community College Named Software Educator of the Year by the New Hampshire High Tech Council. The honor is awarded annually by NHHTC through its Software Industry Exchange (SwIX).
