Visit our 150-year-old, cream-colored New England Farm House located in the heart of Greenland, just 2 miles from Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
At The Feminist Health Center of Portsmouth you will be greeted by professional staff members who will address your immediate healthcare needs.

The health center is a free-standing, non-profit clinic. We are dedicated to the feminist ideal of every person's right to make choices about her or his body and life; to be given accurate and complete information on health care options; and to receive quality care and counseling in a confidential, safe and supportive environment.

Our board, community advisory council and staff are women and men of many skills, politics, and lifestyles. But we are all committed to feminist ideals about how health care should be provided.
We encourage client participation in health care choices with complete, accurate information and respectful counseling. And we provide quality services that support client choices. We believe this emphasis adds an important dimension to our practice, and offers a valued service to our clients and community.

Confidential HIV/AIDS counseling and testing for females and males.
Contraception Education and Methods
First Trimester Abortions, Surgical & by pill

Pregnancy Testing & Options Counseling
Sexually-transmitted disease (STD) clinics for men and women

How do clients feel about services received at FHC-P?

The health care staff is very friendly, understanding, comforting and informative.
The staff is professional. They create a calm, relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Confidentiality and safety is of their utmost concern.
I made the decision to have an abortion and I was very nervous. The old farm house had a calming effect. The staff was sensitive and compassionate to all of my concerns.
