Eastern Dragon Karate is a spacious, 3000 square foot, heated and air conditioned facility. The school is located at the Major Brands Plaza along Rte. 3 at the Belmont/Laconia line. Ample parking can be found in the front and rear of the building.
Parents can feel free to observe classes in session through the large viewing windows located in our lobby, or spend time running errands while our crack staff works with your children. Whether you are looking for a traditional Aiki Kempo Karate, Tai Chi, Thai Kickboxing or our exciting Aerobic Kickboxing class, Eastern Dragon Karate has a program that’s right for you.
Our professional and experienced instructors work with students of all ages and abilities to ensure that as each person advances through the levels of our system, they develop their mind, body and spirit.
Grandmaster Young has combined his extensive knowledge of Shaolin Kempo, Kung Fu, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, Aikido, Western boxing and free style methods to create one of the most effective self defense programs available, Aiki Kempo.
The fundamentals of Aiki Kempo karate teach restraint when provoked and defense when attacked. Rarely will you find a true student of this art involved in a fight or brawl, simply because he or she will be able to walk away from most confrontations without the loss of self-respect.
