In 1993, we began our exclusive relationship with Englert, Inc. who provide what we believe is the best material available. The base material of Galvalume is warrantied for 20 years against rusting and has a superior performance record in comparison to both galvanized metal or G90. The Kynar 500 coating on the colored material now offers an UltraCool, Energy Star compliant paint system which helps save energy costs and extends the life expectancy of the roof due to less expansion and contraction. This new paint system now offers a 35 year paint warranty. We are proud to be the only installer in our area that is certified by Englert, Inc. In addition to using exclusively one manufacturer, we have put a substantial investment into equipment and shop space so that all of our flashings, drip edge and ridge cap are custom-made from the same 24 gauge material as the actual roof.
The MadCow division was started in the fall of 1999 so that we could better serve New Hampshire and other points south. We operate out of Croydon, New Hampshire and have been able to further improve our system by offering the full range of 24 gauge material, a 1 1/2" double locked seam which is UL approved for uplift and structural integrity and a backer rod system (a 5/8" foam rod installed under the panels which significantly improves the overall appearance, eliminates wind noise and adds positive ventilation to the roof system). Though more costly, we feel these benefits are well worth the expense. The option of stiffening ribs is also available for the ultimate in strength and wind resistance. For those seeking a less expensive alternative, a 26 gauge, 1", single lock system is also available in limited colors.
