Alden of Sunapee is located in the scenic Lake Sunapee Region of New Hampshire. We sell a wide range of small boats including kayak, canoes, rowing shells, sailboats and accessories. We also specialize in certain niches of interest such as ultra-lightweight kayaks and canoes, fitness kayaks and rowing shells, and a floor of heavily discounted boats we call Alden On The Cheap.

The Alden On The Cheap boats are grouped together at our Coop location for your convenience. We usally have up to 100 kayaks, canoes, small sailboats and assorted stuff in the Alden On The Cheap shop.

Our main store is located at 71 Main Street in Newport, NH. This shop is always packed with new inventory of kayaks, canoes, rowing shells and accessories. With over 300 boats in stock all year, you can usually see and select the model of your choice and take it home.

We also have a boat store in Croydon, NH, about ten minutes from our Newport shop. This three-story building we call the coop, as in chicken coop, which it was at one time. The top floor is the home of ALDEN-ON-THE-CHEAP, our heavily discounted kayaks.

Our Demo Area is in Sunapee, NH, also about ten minutes from our Newport store. We keep about 25-35 kayaks on the water for your evaluation. There is no better way to determine which kayak is best for you. Demo area is available anytime with permission.
