From Out Of The Woods Antique Center is located in Southern N.H. in a restored 1800's barn providing 3 levels of merchandise. We have been in operation for over 23 years.
We are a good old fashion New England antique Center with the versatility of 80 plus quality antique dealers. Don't look for reproductions or newer items in our barn because you will not find them. In fact, what you will find are some great country items and merchandise ranging from the 18th century to the 1950's collectibles. We like to say that; "we always have something for everyone!"
One of our top priorities is to keep antiquing the way it has always been done, without compromise and by maintaining the Center without commercial reproductions.
As people travel to New England to find and buy Antiques and collectibles, our patrons are confident that our merchandise is true to the era. We hope that you can take the time to stop by the Center and see why people travel so far to buy here.
When we asked Dan Hughes from N. C. about the shop, he said "it's worth the trip".

In the past I did a column on antique scrap books and recently I have had a couple of letters inquiring about the value on them again. So I wrote to the people directly, but this past week something came up that I thought was interesting to share with them and all of you as well.

I have a friend (that started off as a customer). Her name is Deb and we started off by just sending her Lily of the Valley items because she lives in Alaska, and can only get so much for her collection. So we keep our eyes open here and when we get things we send photos for her approval and then ship directly to her.
Well after a couple of years after meeting her she came back for a local family visit and she and I went to lunch. Now being friends we see each other every time she visits her Mom and Dad right here in Goffstown, NH.
Her parents make honey right here locally in Goffstown and this year during Deb's .....Read the entire article.....

In 1884 the Manchester Children’s Home (Webster House) was founded. The mission was to provide a safe home for children who were unable to live at home. The home was founded by local churches in the area who identified the need and took the necessary steps to create the home. The Amoskeag Mill Corporation then the biggest employer in Manchester partnered with the churches and provided the land for the home to be built on. This fine example of community partnering is what has allowed the children’s home to flourish over the past 125 years. Webster House has been able to continue its mission of providing a healthy home for children because of the community’s long standing willingness to help us out in good times and bad. The home is licensed by the State of New Hampshire and receives funds for services for the boys and girls that come to live at the home. Funding covers the basics, and that is where the community has stepped up to fill in the gap so the home can continue to provide the best possible services for children and families in need. I myself having lived there for several years know first hand what help they can be to a youth. I am currently on the board of directors as a way of paying it back. I want to thank all of the people that have donated to The Webster House on behalf of From Out Of The Woods Antique Center. If you are looking for more information on The Webster House (children's home ) please feel free to call for a brochure or a tour. 603-624-8668 The Webster House 135 Webster St Manchester N.H. 03104
