Town elections in Vermont
Town elections in Vermont bring out the best of direct democracy. This past town meeting day, Attorney Charlie Buttrey and Paralegal Lisa Swett were elected to the Town of Thetford School Board for three year terms. While this was Lisa Swett's first campaign election, Charlie Buttrey returned to the Board where he had served as chair for five years.
The Boston Marathon
The Boston Marathon captures the attention of all New England and Charlie Buttrey ran the course this year, having previously run marathons in Washington, DC, and Las Vegas.
