Chef/owners Michael and Sarah Buckley opened Buckleys Great Steaks in December 2005 with the single goal of serving the finest, most flavorful steaks imaginable. Like their other restaurants Michael Timothys Urban Bistro and Surf Buckleys Great Steaks combines extraordinary food with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Buckleys Great Steaks is located inside the historic structure was once home to Riddles Tavern. It was built circa 1800 by Isaac Riddle. Through the years it has served as a tavern, boarding house and residence.
Together, Michael and Sarah have carefully renovated the tavern. Hidden fireplaces have been revealed and hand-hewn beams exposed, all of which add to the special charm of Buckleys Great Steaks.
